 Present Perfect

[has/have + past participle]

Examples:

  • You have seen that movie many times.
  • Have you seen that movie many times?
  • You have not seen that movie many times.

We use the Present Perfect to say that an action happened at an unspecified time before now. The exact time is not important. You CANNOT use the Present Perfect with specific time expressions such as: yesterday, one year ago, last week, when I was a child, when I lived in Japan, at that moment, that day, one day, etc. We CAN use the Present Perfect with unspecific expressions such as: ever, never, once, many times, several times, before, so far, already, yet, etc.

Examples:

  • I have seen that movie twenty times.
  • I think I have met him once before.
  • There have been many earthquakes in California.

 MY FAVORITE TYPE OF MUSIC

I cannot really say that I have one favorite type of music. Well, I guess if I had to choose something that I could listen to at practically any time, it would be some kind of trance music. This kind of music is very relaxing and thought provoking. It helps you loosen up and let go of your problems. It always transports you into a better and more exciting world. Trance music is great for parties and night clubs. If you get high the experience can be that much more enjoyable.

I also love classical music. Classical music is something that helps me get my mind peaceful and centered.
I listen to this type of music when I need to study or concentrate. It also helps me get creative

Sometimes I listen to popo music Ususally I listen to this type of music when I am angry and feel like killing somebody. It helps me get all that frustration out.
Also, there is a type of meditative music that you listen to at spas. Sometimes I listen to that when I just have a headache and my mind cannot take too much noise or emotional nonsense.

One Experience.....

Have you ever been out of a mall?
The last week my friend and I went to the walmart to perform work of alternative media, we had to take pictures of the stock especially in the area of children, when we all went fine, took a few pictures but then a young lady approached us telling us if we needed help with something scared us something we said no, then she went to call the supervisor of the mall and this brought us out of it accompanied by a policeman, because you can not take pictures at the mall. then we feel somewhat embarrassed, yet sad at not being able to complete our work.
